One of my favourite animated series Madagascar are back to rock the world again.

“Escape 2 Africa” begins a serious poaching session on “Lion King” territory. Alex reunites with his dad Zuba, the king of the jungle , and mom Florrie. Zuba is overjoyed to see his son, as it is explained in a flashback that Alex was destined for the throne, but could not focus on training to fight. Alex had eventually been caught by poachers, but he was thrown out of their truck by accident and landed in New York City. Zuba is under the impression that it was his fault for losing his son, and therefore, sets out to make Alex the new king once he passes the test for the alpha-male, even though Alex mentions he was the King of New York only in name. Not all is peaceful in the kingdom, though, as Zuba’s rival Makunga intends to use Alex so he can steal the throne instead.
